Last updated: 19 septembre 2026
This page explains what personal data Lokano collects when you visit this site or reserve your place, why, and how you can exercise your rights. It is based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).
1. Who is responsible for your data?
Lokano is a service published by B2Medias SA, Chemin de Budron A 9, 1052 Le Mont-sur-Lausanne, Switzerland. B2Medias SA is responsible for processing your data.
Contact for any question about your data: contact@lokano.ch
2. What data do we collect?
When you reserve your place
- your first name, last name, e-mail address and phone number;
- the name, type and town of your business, and its website if you provide it;
- the chosen plan and billing mode;
- where your visit came from (source, medium and advertising campaign name, if you came from an ad);
- your card reference at Stripe, without the card number (see below).
This information is saved as you type, even if you don’t complete your reservation, so that we can call you back and help you finish it.
When you browse the site
- the usual technical data (IP address, browser, pages requested), kept in our hosting provider’s logs for the security and proper operation of the site;
- a strictly necessary session cookie, which protects the form against fraudulent submissions;
- if you accept them, audience measurement and advertising cookies and identifiers (see “Cookies” below);
- anonymous usage statistics for the reservation journey (clicks on “Reserve my place”, form steps reached), linked to the originating campaign;
- information stored temporarily in your browser (session storage) to remember where your visit came from until the reservation. It disappears when you close the tab.
When we are in touch
The content of your e-mails and the notes from our calls with you.
3. Why do we use this data?
- record your place reservation and confirm that we have received it;
- contact you, including by phone, to prepare your account going live;
- charge your card when your account goes live, according to the chosen plan, and issue your invoices;
- measure how effective our campaigns are, as statistics (number of reservations per campaign);
- protect the site against abuse and meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your data.
4. Card payment
Card registration is handled by Stripe, on a secure Stripe page. Your card details never pass through our servers: we only receive a customer identifier, confirmation of the registration and, later, the payment status. No charge is made before your account goes live. Stripe processes your card details under its own responsibility, in accordance with its privacy policy.
5. Who receives your data?
- Infomaniak Network SA (Switzerland): website hosting and sending e-mails;
- Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd, Ireland, and Stripe, Inc., United States): card registration and payments;
- our staff and service providers, to the extent needed to manage your reservation.
Only with your consent, we use Google Tag Manager (Google Ireland Limited, Ireland, and Google LLC, United States) to load audience measurement and advertising tools. If you arrive from an ad, the advertising platform applies its own privacy policy.
6. Transfers abroad
Your data is hosted in Switzerland. Stripe and Google may process data in Ireland, the European Union or the United States, on the basis of appropriate safeguards, including standard contractual clauses.
7. How long do we keep it?
- reservation not completed: 12 months after our last contact, then deleted;
- if your account goes live: for the whole duration of the relationship, then for the legal retention periods for accounting records (10 years);
- your card: deleted at Stripe if you cancel your reservation or ask us to;
- server logs: limited period set by the hosting provider.
8. Cookies and audience measurement
- Necessary : a session cookie (form security) and a record of your cookie choice. They do not require your consent.
- Measurement and advertising (Google) : set only if you accept them in the cookie banner shown during your visit. They help us count visits, understand how visitors move through the site and measure how effective our ads are.
- Anonymous internal statistics : we count page views, clicks on “Reserve my place” and the steps of the form, without cookies or personal identifiers.
You can change your choice at any time by deleting this site’s cookies in your browser settings: the banner will then be shown again.
9. How do we protect your data?
The site is served over HTTPS. Reservation data is stored outside the server’s public folder, with restricted access. Payment webhooks are verified by signature.
10. Your rights
You can ask to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its processing or receive it in a common format, and object to certain processing. Write to us at contact@lokano.ch : we reply within 30 days.
You can also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) in Bern or, if you live in the European Union, the data protection authority in your country.
11. Changes
We may update this policy, for example when launching new features. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
